Hello William & Mary

Today Dagney downloaded the Recruit Profile form for the William & Mary Volleyball Team and filled it out to the best of her ability using the tools from her craft box. In her excitement she wrote Coach Melissa Aldrich Shelton a wonderful letter and included a beautiful picture of herself to show Coach Shelton how tall and energetic she is. Of course we all know the picture as the "Yaa-hoo Christmas Photo".

After mommy proofread the the letter and daddy printed it out, all three items were going into the envelope, hopefully with minimal drool and wrinkling.

Writing the letter and filling out the recruit profile was easy for Dagney, however trying to figure out how these large pieces of paper were to fit into such a small envelope was a bit confusing to say the least.

Okay, clearly this job will be easier when attempted on the floor.

Although Dagney is now well versed with saying 'Mommy' and 'Daddy', here first complete sentence sounded something like, "BAH-BAH-BAH....With all this work I'm not expecting an early scholarship, but should Coach Shelton offer one I'll certainly not turn it down...BAH"

Happy Easter!

It is Dagney's first Easter and we made all sorts of colored eggs to celebrate before heading to Ohma's house. She loved seeing the white eggs turn into greens, blues, yellows and pinks. However, once again faced with a rainbow of colors to choose from, Dagney found blue to be her favorite.

Super Tuesday - The Suspense is Crazy

It comes as no surprise CNN and Fox News are lagging behind www.bunkersfamily.blogspot.com when it comes to late-breaking political news!

Tonight the votes are counted for the first ever Ocean Shores Primary for the position of Mayor and none other than my father Dean Bunkers is in the running. We are all anxiously awaiting the results and will be feverishly refreshing our email!

9 Month Check-Up

Dagney went for her 9 month check-up on Friday with Daddy and me. She braved two shots, but getting weighed was another story. The best the nurse could get was "about 19 pounds 6 ounces", which would be considered average. Her length is still in the 90th percentile, though, which continues to be Josh's worst nightmare coming to fruition. He has images of Dagney growing up to be a tall gorgeous red-head with blue eyes and of himself owning at least one shotgun to scare off suitors. He's convinced that if we start now we can influence her to become a nun. And poor Daddy has another girl on the way!
