My Big Brother Tommy

My handsome, funny and loving brother Tommy passed away on Monday. It was so sudden and is yet to be explained. This has been a tough week for us and I am especially heartbroken not to be able to say goodbye to him today in Georgia...more for the fact that it would make it all seem more "real" to me somehow. The picture above was taken at Dagney's Baptism party in August of 2007...it made me smile to see his face and see him in a typically funny pose for the camera. That was Tommy and we will miss him so much.
Tommy's service is today...please visit www.wagesfuneralhome.com where his obituary can be viewed and messages can be left. I also want to say thank you to all of my friends and family who have been so supportive and have helped me over the week...

I am the Potty-Master

About two weeks ago Dagney started to ask for the potty to go pee-pee. We decided as parents to take our foot off the gas as the process takes a lot of attention and patience; and with Lillian coming we thought it was too much for us.

Somebody forgot to tell Dagney as she continues to ask for the potty and use it.

The Big Game

The girls and I are whooping it up in anticipation of the big game tonight! Maybe I'll let the girls have a sip of beer if the ol' Purple is victorous tonight.

Just kidding mommy, we are all behaving.

Tummy full and resting in mommy's arms

Finally, Little L

No words necessary.

Jenn's Vitals

Nurse is checking Jenn's vitals, after which Jenn and I will get to see Little L.

We're looking over the menu, I am eye-balling the cheeseburger deluxe with fries but the nurse said broth and jello for Jenn.

Pictures are coming soon...I hope.

Lillian Frances Bunkers

Lillian Frances Bunkers was born 12:06 p.m., 6 pounds 9 ounces, 19.5 inches and with red hair (shocker).

Jenn is doing great, recovering nicely with a nap. I think she just snored, she is so cute.

Pictures to come within the hour.

After crying, Lillian's first words were clearly audible, "Pound those Packers on Monday night Mr. Favre." Lillian was worried about not catching the Vikings-Packers on Monday night, so she came two days early.

Thank you all for your support.

Doctor's Last Chat

Dr. Briefed us, went over final check list, next post will be the big one!

Wish us luck, may God be with us.

PS - Clearly the OR outfit I had to wear adds about 75 pounds.

Important Chart

For you Doctors out there, here is an important looking chart showing some vital statistics for Lillian!

Anesthia (sp??) Dude

...Is in here asking us questions. Nurse says Lillian is moving around A LOT!

3 Centimeters Dilated!

We're at the hospital and all systems are go. Little L' could not wait another two days as we are 3 centimeters dilated!
