A day at the Park

This evening Dave, Cole, Dagney, Paige and I went for a nice walk after I returned home from work. While on the walk, we stopped by one of our favorite parks and played with the swings, slide and teeter-totter.

Paige loves the swing, even though Mom insists on bundling her up until she resembles a giant ball of yarn!

Technology changes everything. One way technology has impacted my job of parenting is the accessibility of old cartoons and vidoes on Youtube. The first video she liked was "The Archies" - "Sugar Sugar", but grew out of that video about three months. We watched the "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" around Christmas time and last month it was the Scoobey Doo intro song. Now she has a new favorite and I am not even sure how we found it.

Happy Birthday Janelle

We celebrated Janelle's birthday two nights ago by ordering chinese food and sharing some cake. Good times were had by all!

Dagney could hardly wait to dig into the cake (see picture above). When she got her chance, she wasted no time.

Cole was adorable as he was patient waiting for his piece of cake and he did a wonderful job cleaning his bowl.

New Picture of Baby Bunks #3

Apparently my husband has received some heat for posting the same picture of Baby Bunks #3 twice. So tonight I decided to take a new picture of Baby Bunks #3!

Name our Baby

The wife and I have begun assembling a list of possible names for Baby Bunks #3, but this time we decided to open up the blog for nominations from family and friends. Feel free to leave a comment, submit a name and the gender orientation (when applicable).

Bath Time for Two

Paige is now old enough to take a bath with Dagney and Sunday night was a big success. Dagney and Paige both splashed around and shared their toys.

It was hard to get both girls to look at the camera at the same time, so this was the best picture we could get.
Okay, so maybe not. As Dagney lost interest in the camera, Daddy and Mommy took the cheap route and asked Dagney to give Paige a kiss and she happily obliged.

Go Paige Go!

Paige has been working hard at pulling herself around and spinning on her belly. Today she reached a major milestone, she pushed herself up upon her knees.

We were all so proud and so happy for Paige!

Baby Bunks #3

The Bunkers are going for the trifecta and here is the first picture of Baby Bunks #3! The due date is October 13th!

Hitch'n a Ride

Cole thought cruising around in his new red sports car would really impress Dagney. I am sure Dagney was as impressed as we were, but she decided to pretend otherwise.

It was in the Mid-50s today!

We had a wonderful Sunday and wanted to share it with everybody. Dave and Cole stopped by and we all went for a walk together. Mom got some shopping done, Dad grilled and cleaned the garage.

Here Paige shows us her beautiful smile while she plays with two plastic balls.

Friday Mom took Dagney for her first shoe fitting, she is a size 7! Dagney got these cute pink Nikes (thanks Ohma) and Dagney loves putting them on and going for walks. Dad hopes to take both girls for many walks this Summer.

Dagney loves giving her sister kisses and Paige continues to work on her kissing etiquette. Watch out Dagney, that might be a wet one!
After the wet kiss, Dagney decided to start practicing for her first Easter Egg Hunt, at least that is what it looked like. Dagney loves to put all her animals in a bucket, carry them around and then set them up in a nice straight line.

Here are some cute photos from February that were not blogged.

Dagney is not quite the pottie queen yet as the novelty has worn off. She loves the outdoors and I love taking her out for walks with our new found day light.

Paige is beginning to crawl. She can spin on her belly and drag herself across the floor, though she never moves very far. She loves music and intuitively begins to rock back and fourth at the first sound of music.

After Dagney woke up and we removed her night-time diaper, we asked her if she wanted to go pottie. She said yes, sat down and tinkled for the first time in her pottie. Everyone was so excited, Dagney decided to sit back down and tinkle a second time. There was much rejoicing in the Bunkers' house.

Dagney spent the rest of the moring wearing her big girl underwear. Congratulations Dagney on your first tinkle in the pottie!

The Big Nor'Easter of 09

I am hoping this is our last snow storm of the year. Dagney could not wait (notice she is wearing her pajamas) to get out in the snow with her pink princess snow boots one more time. We got a lot of snow, so walking was difficult at times.

Certification

Today I (Josh) would like to share that I successfully passed my IBM Cognos 8 BI Metadata Model Developer examination. I hope to take at least two (maybe three) more and become a certified IBM-Cognos professional.
