Easter Sunday 09 - The Morning Come'th

Dagney could not believe her eyes coming down the steps today...

There were three baskets, but this was the main one with an Easter Duck, some organic fruit snacks and some MONSTER TRUCKS!

Paige got a new piano. She has such an ear for music some have speculated there may have been a mix up at the hospital (for those who know of Josh's musical prowess). That's right Paige, 'Keep on Rock'n in the Free World'.
We showed Dagney the first egg, pointed to the second and then she was off to the races. She caught on real quick.

Dagney collected all the eggs and than took them apart and put them back together all day. In fact, she took a pink egg into the bathtub tonight!

Easter '09

Tonight we decorated Easter Eggs with Janelle, Dave and Cole and it was a wonderful evening.

Here we are with our "Easter 09" egg.

Josh, Dagney, Dave and Cole overlook the 20+ Easter Eggs in dire need of color!
What is that? Is that the Easter Bunny making an early visit?
Here is mom and her daughters. Paige was the only one who was impressed with Jenn's ability to produce this briliant orange egg!

Paige was really getting into the egg thing, she had no problem claiming her own egg!
Janelle and her boy Cole got a real kick out of this red Easter Egg they dyed together.
Before the day was over, Cole was a real pro at turning his eggs.
And I had to put this picture in the blog, I cherish these 'firsts', such as dyeing Paige's first Easter Egg with her.

PAIGE la'RAGE

Our family likes to get outside every chance we get, and now that Paige is 10 months old and the weather is warming up, Daddy likes to bring her to the park, too. Here she looks inquisitively at her older sister Dagney.

Paige is also at the age that everything goes in the mouth. Here she decides to taste a wood chip...

...and give us her disapproving look.
Paige also enjoys the swings and found the extra large toddler chair quite relaxing!

"...Ahh, nothing like a warm spring day!"

Taking Life One Giant Step at a Time

Dagney decided today was the day she would learn to leap tall buildings, or at least small 7 foot walls with special little foot-holes.

It was a bit nerve-racking at first, but sure enough Dagney put one hand in front of the other and one foot after the other...

And when she reached the top, she slid down the giant slide!

More Pics of Baby Bunks #3

We had another ultra-sound today, the heart beat was healthy and if you look closely one can see baby Bunks' face (to left of the middle of the page) looking at the camera.Much debate whether it is a girl or boy, however during Dagney and Paige's pregnancy Jenn could hardly stand the smell of beef. During this pregnancy I have been given the ultimatum that if I am cooking chicken it better be outside where she cannot smell it.

Things that make you go hmmmm...

That is one dirty hat!

I don't know many mothers who would allow their daughters to wear such a filthy hat, no matter how much their daughter loved Daddy. Having said that, I have to assume mom was taking a nap when Paige miraculously took this picture.

I am sure it will not be the first time Dagney and Paige conspire together.

Paige and all her Beauty

What a wonderful surprise to come home and find these beautiful pictures of Paige on the camera. I could not wait to publish these.

She is growing so fast now, it won't be long and she will be mobile.
